Canjica or mungunzá is a very popular Brazilian dessert during Festa Juninas. The dish is prepared with special corn for canjica, cooked with cow's milk or coconut milk, sugar, cinnamon, and clove. Other ingredients such as peanuts and condensed milk can be added as desired. In Colombia and other Latin American countries, there is a similar dish of cooked corn called "mazamorra".
