The Barão Toasted Mate Tea has Mate herb cultivated and produced by the traditional process, with a characteristic coarser grinding granulometry.
The product undergoes roasting, in which it acquires the characteristic toasted flavor and odor. Light roasting accentuates acidity and aroma, with a mild flavor. Medium roasting is the balance point between acidity, aroma, and bitterness. Finally, dark roasting produces a more acidic, more bitter, and less full-bodied tea.
This product can be consumed as tea or juice in tea infusers, coffee makers, French presses, or Pressca.
